  This project came to me as a need for repairs as the client wanted to sell the home and get top dollar. One of the biggest turn offs was the second floor pond that sat just outside the master bedroom and study.

  I’ve completed many projects for these clients in their previous houses, in purchasing this home there were many elements that needed attention. Their back yard would flood due to lack of drainage which we corrected prior to building a huge parking lot that would be the envy of almost anyone I know.

  We were asked to present a solution to a slightly challenging back yard design. Incorporating the rear walk out as well as integrating a hot tub limited us in our design possibilities, but this deck system turned out beautifully.

  Montgomery, Ancaster - Pool Pump House

  New “Duradeck” vinyl top we installed to not only seal the roof system again but also to provide a beautiful roof top deck. Along with the Duradeck we installed a “topless” laminated glass railing system to provide safety but also to provide enjoyment of the amazing view.

  Playfair Place, Ancaster - Deck

  This deck was a lot of fun for me, being part of the design, interpreting the homeowners dreams and building this beautiful cedar deck system was a thrill. Extra provisions in the structure were made to incorporate a small shade trellis and bench to be added in the future and in the design to incorporate a hot tub… but even without it looks fantastic.

  Dalewood Ave., Hamilton - Soffit, Fascia, Trough, Ginger-breading and Roof

  This exterior rebuild was a replacement of all second floor windows, rebuild of the trim boards on the second floor walls, repaint the whole second floor. We replaced the roof, all soffit, fascia and trough allowing us to redirect the water away from problem areas of the basement.

  Belvidere, Hamilton - Soffit, Fascia and Wall Trims

  This was a project were the soffit, fascia and wall trims are all wood and had not been cared for to the point where rot had taken over. We were called in to remove all of the rotted material and replace with new. We provided all new materials and painted walls, windows, soffit, fascia and trims.

  Jerseyville Rd, Ancaster - Front Entry

  This again was a challenging project as this space had been modified multiple times over the years. Originally was a tight, closed entryway with closets and doors (no natural light and small) removing the walls opened the space right up to introduce the windows to the front entry. One of the big challenges was providing a stair system in a space that didn’t really allow for one.

  Sunters Court, Ancaster - Double Picture Frame Cedar Deck

  This project was presented to me by a Landscaper I often work closely with. Professional landscape concept drawings were provided and with a few modifications to bring the project into compliance with the city building codes this deck turned out beautifully. Simple elegance of cedar, double picture frame decking and integrated lighting makes this deck pop both in the light and in the dark.
